Let's get out of the house mommy!

My poor little Ella has been on this road of morning sickness with her mommy for the past 16 weeks.  I think it's as hard on her as it is on me.  We are SO tired of our apartment!! So, as soon as I felt better yesterday, we got dressed, made a picnic lunch and headed across the street to the park.  We had so much fun just hanging out together in the fresh air!  I have discovered, with help from my mom, that nothing beats fresh air for an active child!  Ella takes the best naps when she spends time outside.

Happy Early Birthday @ Grammy's House!

Ella and I took a trip up to Central California, Monterey County, to visit my family.  It was a long drive, but it was SO worth it to spend time with my mom, sisters, brother & dad.  Ella just adored being so loved by so many people.  And, we celebrated her 1st birthday early...cake and all, hey, what happens at Grammy's, stays at Grammy's!  My mom planned a fun day to the Monterey Bay Aquarium where Ella just loved seeing, pointing and talking to all the fish.  I even let her touch some sea creatures in the touch tide pool.  Thanks Mom for all the fun and all the fun gifts you got for Ella!  I love you.  Enjoy the pics!

It's a ...

Mike, Ella & I went to our 14-week ultrasound to find out the sex of our newest addition coming in September.  After about 10 minutes of watching the baby jump, twirl, kick, look at us straight on, wave...the woman finally announced, "Okay, see this is the foot, leg, another leg and this, well, it's a boy!  Congratulations!"  We were so excited!  God is good, all the time!  He looks healthy, strong & very active...no wonder I haven't been feeling so good.
